National Environment Policy, 2006

National Education Policy, 2020

The National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 replaces the 1986 policy. It reforms school and higher education. It introduces a new structure: 5+3+3+4 years. It promotes learning in multiple languages and vocational training. The goal is to reach 100% school enrollment by 2030 and increase higher education enrollment to 50% by 2035. It supports multidisciplinary studies and research.

NATIONAL POLICY ON SAFETY, HEALTH AND ENVIRONMENT AT WORK PLACE

The National Policy on Safety, Health and Environment at Workplace (NPSHEW), declared by the Indian government in 2009, policy ensuring safe and healthy work environments by establishing standards for occupational safety, risk management, and environmental protection across all workplaces and mandates employer responsibilities, worker rights, and enforcement mechanisms to prevent workplace hazards and injuries.

National Youth Policy, 2021

The NYP 2021 articulates a ten-year vision for youth development that India seeks to achieve by 2030. It is aligned with the SDGs and serves to ‘unlock the potential of the youth to advance India’.

National Youth Policy, 2014

A holistic policy aims to enable youth aged 15 to 29. It offers education, jobs, entrepreneurship, health, sports, and civic activities. It encourages young people to participate in building the nation.

THE NATIONAL YOUTH COMMISSION BILL, 2024

A BILL to constitute a Youth Commission for the purpose of evolving and implementing programmes for educating and empowering the youth and to function as protector of the rights of youth and for matters connected therewith or incidental thereto.

Be it enacted by Parliament in the Seventy-fifth Year of the Republic of India.
